We process your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on personal data protection.

What data we process: name, e-mail address, phone number and details of your event (type, date, number of guests). For an order, also the delivery address and the order contents. If you send us a message or note, we process its content too.

Purpose and legal basis: handling your inquiry, preparing a price offer and fulfilling a catering order — pre-contractual and contractual processing (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Processors and third parties: for running the website and communication we use a web hosting provider (Hetzner Online, Germany) and e-mail services (Websupport, Slovakia). To draft reply suggestions and the menu proposal (configurator) we use an AI tool (Anthropic, USA) — the content of your message or inquiry may be processed in the process. To compute the delivery zone, your address/ZIP is sent to OpenRouteService. Transfer to a third country (USA) is based on appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses).

Cookies and traffic measurement: the website uses Google Analytics and the Google Ads measurement tag only if you allow it in the cookie bar. Your browser remembers your choice until you delete it; without consent these tools are not loaded at all and no measurement cookies are set. With consent, Google sets cookies that distinguish visitors and receives data about the pages visited, your device and an approximate location derived from your IP address; we only see aggregate statistics. These services are provided by Google Ireland Limited; transfer to the USA is based on appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses). Regardless of consent, for as long as the browser tab is open the website remembers where you came from (for example a search engine or an ad) so we can attribute your inquiry to its source; this value contains nothing that identifies you. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.

Ad measurement: if you reached our website from an ad in Google Search, we store the click code that Google appends to the page address. Without your cookie consent we keep it only until you close the browser tab; with consent, for 90 days. When an order is confirmed, we send Google this code, the time, the amount and the order number together with whether you gave consent, so we know which ads lead to orders. We do not send your name, phone number or e-mail to Google. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring the effectiveness of our own advertising (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); you may object to this processing at info@benaldo.sk.

Retention: we keep inquiry and order data for at most 24 months from the last event and then anonymise it, unless a legal (e.g. accounting) reason requires longer retention.

Your rights: you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability and to object. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR).
